About the presenter:
Dr. Rituparna Biswas is an Assistant Professor in Dept of Radiotherapy at Malda Medical College & Hospital, (West Bengal)
- Dr. Rituparna has completed MBBS (Hons), MD Radiotherapy, and has pursued her MD from IPGME&R, Kolkata
- She has 10 years of experience in treating various types of cancers with radiotherapy & chemotherapy
- She was a senior resident in radiation oncology at BRAIRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi till 2018
- She has won the 17th ICRO PG teaching course quiz award and has published 32 articles in reputed journals
- One of her current article was on ‘Abscopal effect of radiation in metastatic esophageal carcinoma: fourth reported case. Int Cancer’ Conf J. 2023
- She is a lifetime member of the Association Of Radiation Oncologist Of India (AROI)
- She has a special interest in neuro-oncology, sinonasal tumors, gastrointestinal tumors, pediatric tumors, and head and neck malignancy
