Dr. Subhash k Wangnoo is a senior consultant of Endocrinology & Diabetology at Apollo Hospital, Sarita vihar, New Delhi

• He has been in the medical field since 1981 & has a total experience of 41 years
• He has established and currently heading the Apollo Centre for Obesity, Diabetes and Endocrinology (ACODE) at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Sarita Vihar, Delhi
• He has been instrumental in establishing the DNB Super-Speciality program in Endocrinology at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, which has been running successfully for more than 10 years, and is the only amongst the Apollo group of hospitals having a DNB Endocrinology program
• He has been actively involved in healthcare projects involving the community regarding the spread of awareness of diabetes, its treatments and complications
• He has been organising educational tours for patients with type 1 diabetes on World Diabetes Day every year, for more than the last 10 years
• He also conducts diabetes health camps and imparts diabetes education to the public at various places of repute
• He is a founder member of Delhi Diabetes Forum (DDF), a non-profit charitable organisation & actively involved in conducting charitable health camps, and established the first-of-its-kind Free Insulin Provision Scheme for Type 1 Diabetes patients 
• He has been on an advisory board & task force for the development of various clinical practice guidelines in Indian Consensus Guidelines for Insulin Pump Therapy, Guidelines for managing Thyroid Dysfunction in India & Young Type 2 diabetics in India, International Task Group for Self-Monitoring of Blood Glucose, Indian Obesity Task group, etc
• He has been a past president of the Delhi Diabetes Forum
• He has been an Invited Faculty in various International & National Conferences
• He has a Membership in Scientific Bodies in Endocrine Society, USA, American Diabetes Association, Association of American College of Endocrinology, Royal College of Physicians of London, UK, European Association for Study of Diabetes, International Diabetes Federation, Association of Physicians of India, Endocrine Society, India, etc
• He has been a senior consultant of an endocrinologist at King Khalid Hospital, Saudi Arabia, (1992-94)
