Prof. Dr. Anitha Ramesh, MSc Oncology, PhD is Professor and Head of Medical Oncology at Saveetha Medical College & Hospital, Saveetha University, Chennai

Prof Dr. Anitha is an MBBS(Hons), DCH(UK), MD, Dip NB, DM(Medical Oncology), MSc Oncology(UK), MBA, PhD
She is the Founder and Manager Trustee at Freedom From Cancer Relief and Research Foundation Public Trust
She is also a Senior Consultant of Medical and Paediatric Oncology at Apollo Speciality Hospitals, Kauvery Cancer Center and Chettinad Super Speciality Hospital, Chennai
Dr. Anitha has overall 23 years of experience in the field of Oncology, both as a Physician and in Teaching
She was awarded with "She - The Warrior" award in March 2023
She is a Gold Medalist and has an Honours degree in MBBS and First Rank in the Calcutta University Surgery Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Pharmacology, Anatomy from Calcutta National Medical College and Hospital
As a Medical Oncologist, Dr. Anitha has treated more than 1000 cancer survivors including children, women with breast and cervical cancer and also adolescents and men
She is also a member of the European and American Cancer Society and an Executive Member of the Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology
She has done more than 50 publications and abstracts in peer review journals with an Impact factor of 80 published in Oncology
Dr. Anitha More has more than 100 International and National presentations
She is actively involved in clinical trials as Principal investigator for more than 24 trials, the highest recruiting physician for a Sanofi Aventis trial in the world, Us FDA audited Investigator for Clinical trials in Phase 1, phase 2 and Phase 3 studies and also the highest recruiter in an International trial
Her trial was FDA audited for Oncology Clinical Trials and named on the USFDA website
