Trivitron Healthcare in association with Baptist Hospital introduces Digital Mammography Equipment in Karnataka

Trivitron Healthcare in association with Baptist Hospital has introduced the 3D Tomosynthesis and Stereotactic guided Vacuum assisted Biopsy system which enables early detection of breast cancer.
3D Tomosynthesis is an advanced technology which takes less than 4 seconds to scan any abnormality in the breast. Studies have shown that the chances for successful treatment are nearly 100 per cent if breast cancer is detected early. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor R Sampath Raj said, "My hearty congratulations to Bangalore Baptist Hospital for bringing first of its kind advanced 3D Digital Mammography technology to Bangalore.
Across the world, breast cancer is the No.1 cause of cancer death in women. Early detection of breast cancer is the key to save lives. My humble request to all women above 40 years is to get their annual mammogram screening done as this will help them to detect breast cancer at an early stage."
