Ruckus prevailed in the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus after clash between students and junior doctors late September 24 night.

During the clash, the students torched a police booth near LD guest house, a SBI ATM and two motorcycles. Around five students were injured in the stone pelting. Large contingent of police force was rushed to the spot to control the situation. Officials claimed on September 25 that the situation was under control. Dispute commenced after the doctors refused to admit a patient of a student in the surgery ward of the Sir Sunderlal hospital. First the students thrashed a junior doctor and later, they retaliated. An FIR has been registered from both the sides against others.
