NWKRTC to introduce Ambulance service

North West Karnataka Road Transportation Corporation (NWKRTC) Chairman Sadanand Dungannavar said on Thursday that Ambulance service will be introduced in the division for the benefit of passengers in case of emergency.
Speaking to newsmen after flagging of six Volvo buses to Mysuru, Bidar, and Chennai, the chairman said that the state government has sanctioned 650 new buses to NWKRTC. He said that NWKRTC will also start Indira Clinic at each division for the benefit of staff and passengers. The Volvo buses have been provided sensors to detect smoking and smoke and will hoot instantly.
