Health department has adopted measures to successfully combat malaria: Revealed report

The health department has attained measures to successfully combat malaria and fever in an effective manner as has been revealed the reports of the department in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai.
According to the information, altogether 17,635 fever cases have been registered in the district among which 931 have been found of Malaria. Being drug resistant for Malaria, the Malaria has been the high risk disease. In previous years, the disease has snatched many lives. Moreover, the terrain of the district has remained to be a major obstacle for speedy response from the department.
And the department seriously lacks adequate number of doctors and health employees in the district. Again the month of July has always been the deadly month for Malaria outbreak. Hence, the department has ensured precautionary measure like DDT spraying throughout the district almost in a double pace in comparison with previous years. Besides, 497 health camps have been arranged in the district.
In those camps 11,158 patients have taken treatment. Among them 2952 patients have been of fever, 341 of diarrhea and 148 of Malaria. No casualties have yet been occurred in the district for Malaria. The department has claimed to keep the situation under control and assured strict vigil on the situation.
