Doctors at Government General Hospital (GGH), Vijayawada have mentioned that they have been denied N95 masks and are worried that they may contract swine flu from patients.

The doctors have called out the hospital authorities for not providing them with N95 masks, necessary for filtering out airborne particles. The authorities, however, claim that these allegations are false and that masks and medicines are being given to patients visiting the hospital as well. One of the doctors mentioned that the hospital has not provided them with masks despite repeated request, after which the doctors decided to procure it themselves. He also mentioned that they have not even been provided preventive vaccination.
