Doctor extracts tooth from man's nasal cavity
Times of India Nov 27, 2018
Doctors at a Kolkata hospital have removed a tooth lodged in a 29-year old man's nasal cavity.
The man had been having cold, nasal discharge, and headache for years, but a few months ago, he began having intense pain, which is when he decided to consult a doctor. On examining the patient, doctors found a fully grown tooth in his nasal cavity. Doctors mentioned that while it is common for an extra tooth to grow in the upper jawbone, it is extremely rare to find one in the nasal cavity.
