UNI Sep 19, 2017

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij today said about 35 medical tests would be conducted free of cost under the first-of-its-kind medical scheme to be launched soon and health cards would be issued to all persons in the state for diagnosis of diseases

Presiding over a review meeting of the health department, Mr Vij said the scheme would generate detailed reports of various diseases afflicting the people living in different parts of the state. Under the scheme, the entire state would be divided into 4 to 5 zones and different agencies would be directed to conduct tests and put the record online. Besides, a hard copy of test report would also be given to the person concerned so that he can use it for getting proper treatment. Complete data would be made available on mobile app of the department so that people can use this information.

Mr Vij said mobile checking vans equipped with all facilities and doctors would be deployed for this purpose. The vans would reach people at their doorsteps and conduct such tests as blood, TB, liver, cancer, blood pressure and diabetes. This would lead to early detection of diseases and enable people to get cured early. ased on the data gathered, the state government would take a call on the future course of action. A committee of doctors would be constituted to prepare a lay-out plan of different tests.
