With a biomechanical treatment in knee osteoarthritis, less knee pain did not correlate with synovitis reduction

Swaminathan V, et al. – In this study, experts hypothesized change in synovitis evaluated using dynamic imaging could explain the reduction in pain. Following brace wearing, the reduction in knee pain in patients with patellofemoral joint osteoarthritis (PFJOA) was not explained by changes in synovitis.
