Yukich JO, et al. – Researchers here described results of a Becker–DeGroot–Marschak auction in Ghana regarding willingness to pay (WTP) for small solar powered bed net fans. Observations suggested a mean WTP of approximately 55 Cedis (~13 USD). Demand results indicated that at a price which would support full manufacturing cost recovery, a majority of households in the area would be willing to purchase at least one such unit.
