American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Feb 15, 2019
Li MC, et al. - Considering the studies documenting lower likelihood of live birth with increasing body mass index (BMI) among women undergoing assisted reproductive technologies (ART), researchers followed 264 women who underwent 445 ART cycles for infertility treatment at the Massachusetts General Hospital between 2010 and 2017, to examine the relation between baseline waist circumference (WC) and infertility treatment outcomes. Observations revealed an inverse association of WC with the probability of live birth among women undergoing assisted reproductive technology independent of BMI.
