Brulefert A, et al. - An inspection was pursued of the epidermal expression of glucocorticoid receptor(GR)-beta in patients with bullous pemphigoid (BP). The data revealed that increased protein expression of GRβ in skin epithelial cells was predictive of reduced steroid treatment efficacy. This, in turn, speculated increased risk of disease relapse in the study cohort.
