Unilateral congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction and amblyopia risk factors

Badakere A, et al. - Researchers gauged the prevalence of amblyopia risk factors in patients with unilateral congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction (CNLDO). Findings suggested that compared to the prevalence of amblyopia risk factors in general population, there was a marginally higher prevalence of amblyopia risk factors in children with unilateral CNLDO. Therefore, to detect amblyopia risk factors and for their prompt management, a thorough evaluation should be carried out.
