Treatment of Class III malocclusion using miniscrew-anchored inverted Forsus FRD: Controlled clinical trial
The Angle Orthodontist Jun 22, 2018
Eissa O, et al. - Experts assessed the skeletal, dental, and soft tissue changes following the use of miniscrew-anchored inverted Forsus fatigue-resistant device (FRD) in the treatment of Class III malocclusion. Maxillary forward growth could be effectively increased by the use of miniscrew-anchored inverted FRD, but the mesial movement of the maxillary dentition was not prevented by it. They observed significant lower incisor retroclination. Due to the lower lip retrusion and upper lip protrusion, the significant esthetic facial profile improvement was achieved.
