BMC Urology Mar 27, 2020
Ren ZJ, Yang B, Lu DL, et al. - Researchers tried to fin out the efficacy and safety of transurethral resection of the ejaculatory duct (TURED) combined with seminal vesiculoscopy in treating persistent or recurrent haemospermia in men with ejaculatory duct obstruction (EDO). This retrospective study included a total of 103 consecutive individuals with EDO who had undergone TURED combined with seminal vesiculoscopy for persistent or recurrent haemospermia at the Department of Urology of West China Hospital. Detailed history-taking and semen analysis, transrectal ultrasonography, and magnetic resonance imaging were applied to examine individuals. For the diagnosis and treatment of persistent or recurrent haemospermia, the TURED combined with seminal vesiculoscopy was found to be a suitable method in men with EDO.
