Tolerability of trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine among pregnant women, 2015

Asavapiriyanont S, et al. - Researchers performed this cohort study to assess if the prevalence of adverse events following immunization (AEFIs) with influenza vaccine among Thai pregnant women was similar to that often cited among healthy adults. They noted the occurrence of AEFIs with influenza vaccine in a similar frequency to those reported among healthy adults in other studies. AEFIs were generally mild and self-limited. Soreness at the injection site, general weakness, muscle ache, and headache were the most common AEFIs noted.
