The use of propensity score matching to assess the benefit of the endometrial receptivity analysis in frozen embryo transfers
Fertility and Sterility Apr 29, 2021
Bergin K, Eliner Y, Duvall DW, et al. - In this retrospective cohort study, researchers examined the impact of the endometrial receptivity analysis (ERA) on live birth rates in frozen embryo transfer (FET) cycles. Between January 1, 2014, and June 30, 2019, autologous FET cycles were reviewed. The ERA identifies a patient’s putative window of implantation in order to improve synchrony with the embryo and thus achieve higher live birth rates. To compare live birth rates, this study used propensity score matching to control for multiple covariates in a heterogenous group of patients. There was no difference in the live birth rate between patients who had the ERA and those who did not.
