The relationship between hydration status, male sexual dysfunction and depression in hemodialysis patients

Hassan K, et al. - During this study, experts scrutinized the tie-up between overhydration (OH) with male sexual dysfunction and depression in hemodialysis (HD) patients. Herein, OH in HD patients exhibited a correlation with a higher prevalence of sexual dysfunction and depression, lower serum levels of total testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and higher levels of serum estradiol.
