The quantitative measurements of vascular density and flow area of optic nerve head using optical coherence tomography angiography
Journal of Glaucoma Aug 09, 2017
Bazvand F, et al. – This study is performed to assess the vascular density (VD) and the flow area on optic nerve head (ONH) and peripapillary area, and the effect of age and sex utilizing optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in healthy human subjects. A normal quantitative database of the flow area and VD of the papillary and peripapillary area, obtained by RTVue XR with OCT angiography technique, is exhibited here. The reason for this investigation was to assess the vascular thickness (VD) and the stream territory on optic nerve head (ONH) and peripapillary zone, and the effect of age and sex utilizing optical rationality tomography angiography (OCTA) in sound human subjects. A typical quantitative database of the stream zone and VD of the papillary and peripapillary territory, got by RTVue XR with OCT angiography strategy, is exhibited here.
