Riva I, et al. - This study was initiated in order to discern the effect of visually non-significant cataract extraction in patients with hypotony maculopathy and reduced visual acuity due to over-filtering blebs after trabeculectomy. The findings illustrated that phacoemulsification of visually non-significant cataract was a safe and effective technique for the management of chronic ocular hypotony with deep anterior chamber due to over-filtering blebs.
