Das D, et al. – The topic of assessment here was the role of Th1 polarizing γδ–T cells and scavenger receptors in the pathogenesis of Pemphigus vulgaris. An elevation could be brought about in the inflammatory environment and immune imbalance in this disease via increased Scavenger receptors expression (CD36 & CD163). Targeting the inflammatory γδ T cells and Scavenger receptors could assist in determining the novel therapeutics in future.
