Tea consumption and risk of fractures: An updated meta-analysis

Xiang W, et al. - This meta-analysis included 16 studies, including seven cohort studies and nine case-control studies, with 772,707 individuals with 37,166 fracture cases, in which, the correlation between tea intake and the risk of fractures was illustrated. For the highest vs lowest category of tea intake, the RRs of fracture was 0.86. Subgroup analysis designated important relationships in cohort studies and case-control studies. Thus, the current meta-analysis designates that tea consumption could be related to a decreased risk of fractures.
