Survival of dialysis patients with restless legs syndrome: A 15-year follow-up study
American Journal of Nephrology Sep 08, 2017
Baiardi S, et al. - This study included chronically dialyzed patients who were assessed for the determination of the link between restless legs syndrome (RLS)/Willis/Ekbom disease (WED) and mortality. Concomitant RLS/WED had no impact on the mortality in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients. In uremic subjects with versus without RLS/WED, significantly longer survival rates were reported after a 15-year follow-up. No link was observed, between RLS/WED severity and mortality.
