Clinical Ophthalmology Jan 21, 2018
Jhingan M, et al. - In this trial, a comparison was performed between the outcomes of subthreshold microsecond (STM) and continuous-wave laser (CWL) panretinal photocoagulation (PRP). This prospective pilot study proposed that microsecond panretinal photocoagulation (PRP) was not inferior to CWL PRP and could be used as an alternative to CWL PRP in order to avoid the associated complications in severe nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) and early proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR).
