Spectral-domain optical coherence tomography angiography for the diagnosis and evaluation of polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy
Ophthalmologica Dec 17, 2017
de Carlo TE, et al. - The diagnostic ability of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) with indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) were comparatively examined in this research, in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV). Researchers revealed that branching vascular networks (BVN) was readily detected via OCTA. It could identify most polyps. However, in several cases, ICGA displayed a better ability to detect the PCV complex.
