Soft tissue volume gain around dental implants using autogenous subepithelial connective tissue grafts harvested from the lateral palate or tuberosity area. A randomized controlled clinical study
Journal of Clinical Periodontology Apr 24, 2018
Rojo E, et al. - Authors compared the soft tissue volume gain (VG) around single tooth implants with subepithelial connective tissue graft (SCTG) from either the lateral palate (LP) or from the tuberosity area (TA). They assessed VG by stereolithography (STL) image superimposition of 2 intraoral scans. For both the groups, descriptive analysis was performed and for comparisons, Mann–Whitney U test was used. Data suggested that in increasing soft tissue volume, both procedures were effective with no statistically significant differences.
