Bayraktar Z, et al. – The effect of sexual intercourse on the spontaneous passage of distal ureteral stones 5–10 mm in size was examined. The spontaneous passage of distal ureteral stones 5–10 mm in size was increased by tamsulosin and sexual intercourse. In addition, at least three sexual intercourses per week seemed to be at least as effective as tamsulosin, and it also reduced the need for analgesics in ureteric colic due to ureteral stones.
