Awad SM, et al. - As a part of this study, authors contemplated the role of serum psoriasin and koebnerisin as potential markers for subclinical atherosclerosis in patients with psoriasis. An association was brought to light between serum psoriasin and koebnerisin with intima–media thickness (IMT). This, in turn, highlighted their value as a potential link between psoriasis and atherosclerosis. Koebnerisin, in particular, served as a useful marker of subclinical atherosclerosis in the study cohort.
