Serum cystatin C and anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis
Acta Neurologica Scandinavica Apr 29, 2018
Shu Y, et al. - This trial analyzed the correlation between cystatin C (CysC) and anti-N-Methyl-D-aspartate receptor (anti-NMDAR) encephalitis in patients and healthy controls. In anti-NMDAR encephalitis patients, serum levels of CysC were significantly lower, with both disease severity and disease duration significantly associated with CysC levels. These levels increased after treatment for anti-NMDAR encephalitis.
