Havyer RD, et al. – The researchers performed this work to develop a novel set of Science of Health Care Delivery (SHCD) milestones based on published Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) milestones that can be used by medical schools to evaluate medical students’ competence in SHCD. This novel set of SHCD milestones provided a blueprint for SHCD content and assessment, and a starting point for the medical education community as ongoing revisions to milestones and curricula occur within the emerging area of SHCD.
