Hougen I, et al. - Safety of higher-dose vs lower-dose intravenous iron, oral iron, or no iron supplementation in adult patients treated with dialysis, was investigated. As per the findings, in this patient populace, higher-dose intravenous iron did not seem to be related to higher risk of mortality, infection, cardiovascular events, or hospitalizations.
