Safety and efficacy of collagenase clostridium histolyticum in Peyronie's Disease men with ventral curvatures
Urology Apr 23, 2019
Alom M, et al. - Researchers examined 228 individuals to examine the safety and effectiveness of collagenase clostridium histolyticum in males with ventral penile curvatures developed after Peyronie's Disease. Including history, exam, ultrasound, and end-point curvature assessments, they abstracted the clinicopathologic data. As compared to dorsal, ventral and lateral curvatures had greater corresponding improvements in curvature after treatment (ventral 29.5 degrees [49%], lateral 11.4 [38%], dorsal 15.0 [25%]). No urethral complications were reported and adverse events (AE) were similar among curvature directions.
