Xia FD, et al. - This trial pursued the quantification of the risk and the detection of patient/procedure-related risk factors for postsurgical pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) recurrence/exacerbation, in patients presenting with a known history of PG. The data shed light on a minor, albeit significant risk of postsurgical PG recurrence/exacerbation in the study cohort. The occurrence of higher risks was reported with more invasive procedures and chronically present PG.
