Risk factors of low back pain and the relationship with sagittal vertebral alignment in Tanzania
BMC Musculoskeletal Disorders Dec 15, 2019
Tatsumi M, Mkoba E M, Suzuki Y., et al. - This research intended to investigate the prevalence and presentation of low back pain (LBP) and the association between anthropometric measurements and LBP among individuals in Moshi city, Kilimanjaro region Tanzania. Questionnaires about LBP were given and then grouped accordingly into either asymptomatic or symptomatic cohorts. It was discovered that an individual with symptomatic LBP in Tanzania has a large anteversion of the pelvic tilt and a thoracic kyphotic posture. Moreover, it could give a prospective recognition of individuals predisposed to acquiring LBP in the future.
