American Journal of Infection Control Feb 02, 2019
Saeed KBM, et al. - Researchers examined the incidence and risk factors for surgical site infection (SSI) after cesarean delivery (CD). In this case-control study of women, they observed the SSI rate of 2%. Maternal obesity and hypertensive disorders were noted to be the greatest contributors to risk of SSI.
