Risk factors associated with decreased renal function after hand-assisted laparoscopic donor nephrectomy: A multivariate analysis of a single surgeon experience
International Journal of Medical Sciences Sep 19, 2017
Lim J, et al. - This study was formulated to gauge the risk factors associated with decreased renal function after hand-assisted laparoscopic donor nephrectomy performed by a single experienced surgeon. For decreased renal function after hand-assisted laparoscopic donor nephrectomy by a single experienced surgeon, increased age, male sex, higher body mass index (BMI), and decreased preoperative estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) were risk factors. Study findings appeared to be useful for the safe perioperative management of living renal donors.
