Lee SH, et al. - The aim of this study was to assess and compare the effect of silicone oil and gas on the thickness of all retinal layers in eyes presenting with macula-on retinal detachment (RD). A prominent impact of the silicone oil tamponade was observed on the reduction of retinal thickness.
