Residual disease activity and associated factors in psoriatic arthritis
The Journal of Rheumatology Oct 06, 2020
Lubrano E, et al. - This research was sought to evaluate residual disease activity (RDA) and its associated factors in a group of patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Researchers included individuals with PsA whether they satisfied Classification for psoriatic arthritis criteria with > 6 months’ follow-up and achieved a status of low disease activity, minimal disease activity, or remission [Disease Activity Index for PsA (DAPSA) remission or very low disease activity]. A total of 113 enrolled patients were included in the study. In individuals with PsA, RDA can be recognized. It was shown that very low disease activity likes to be the most stringent composite index to distinguish patients in the absence of RDA.
