Renal denervation using carbon dioxide renal angiography in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and moderate to severe chronic kidney disease

Hameed MA, et al. – A pilot study was carried out to gauge the role of carbon dioxide renal angiography for renal sympathetic denervation (RSDN) in patients with uncontrolled hypertension and moderate to severe chronic kidney disease. As per the observations, CO2 renal angiography could be used to perform RSDN in these patients. Possibly, it prompted associated improvements in clinic blood pressure (BP) and albuminuria.
