Leerasiri P, et al. - Researchers performed a comparison of the degree of uterine prolapse between Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification (POP-Q) with cervical traction and POP-Q in the standing position. Secondarily, researchers compared pain and acceptability scores between the two examinations. It was noted that POP-Q examination with cervical traction revealed maximal prolapse at an acceptable level of pain in an outpatient clinic setting. Hence, they recommended this method for POP-Q examination.
