Relationship between dose of bolus dialysate infusion and blood pressure in intermittent infusion hemodiafiltration
Blood Purification Dec 05, 2019
Otsubo S, et al. - A total of 77 people on maintenance hemodialysis were recruited in this study in order to examine the association between the dose of bolus dialysate infusion and blood pressure. Among individuals with a dry weight of ≥ 52 kg, in comparison with a volume of 100 mL, blood pressure was more stable when a bolus fluid volume of 200 mL was used. Nevertheless, the importance of the variance in bolus fluid volumes faded for people with a dry weight of < 52 kg. Therefore, on the basis of the individual's dry weight, the replacement fluid volume might be superiorly ascertained.
