Relationship between coronal alignment and rotational profile of lower extremity in patients with knee osteoarthritis
Journal of Arthroplasty Aug 03, 2018
Chang MJ, et al. - Experts ascertained whether or not the coronal alignment of lower extremity was associated with the rotational geometry of distal femur, femoral anteversion and tibial torsion in patients with knee osteoarthritis. In order to obtain satisfactory rotational alignment after TKA, findings suggested a consideration of the change patterns of the rotational profiles of the lower extremity according to the coronal alignment. The external tibial torsion increased, as the coronal alignment changed from varus to valgus.
