Rectal ketoprofen is not an effective analgesic during hysterosalpingography

Abbas A, et al. - The analgesic effect of rectal ketoprofen in alleviating pain during hysterosalpingography (HSG) was investigated in this randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study. The physicians revealed that in alleviating the induced pain, the use of rectal ketoprofen 30 minutes prior to HSG had no benefit during and 30 minutes after the HSG procedure
