Randomized controlled study for the anti-aging effect of human adipocyte-derived mesenchymal stem cell media combined with niacinamide after laser therapy
Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology May 28, 2021
Lee YI, Kim S, Kim J, et al. - Researchers conducted this double-blind, randomized, vehicle-controlled study to assess the impact of topical post-laser treatment with adipocyte-derived stem cell-containing medium (ADSC-CM) in combination with niacinamide. For this analysis, 25 patients with aging skin had ablative fractional laser (AFL) treatment on both sides of the face for skin rejuvenation. For 3 weeks, moisturizers containing or not containing ADSC-CM plus 2% niacinamide were applied to the designated sides of faces. Using a specialized digital photography analyzer, the wrinkle and the melanin indices were evaluated. The authors discovered that post-laser topical application of ADSC-CM in conjunction with niacinamide has an anti-aging effect on the skin.
