Brugha R, et al. - This study was designed to assess the efficacy of glucose fluctuations as a marker of cystic fibrosis related diabetes (CFRD) or “pre-diabetes”. Researchers noted that calculating the IQR enabled quantification of glucose fluctuation on CGMS. This information may improve early recognition of abnormal glucose homeostasis.
