Alio JL, et al. - An investigation and comparison were carried out of the quality of life and patient satisfaction after implantation of three types of diffractive- refractive and apodized-diffractive bifocal and trifocal multifocal intraocular lens (IOLs). It was reported that the contrast sensitivity consequences and patient satisfaction were persistently high in the trifocal group than the bifocal IOL groups.
