Psychometric evaluation of a motor control test battery of the craniofacial region
Journal of Oral Rehabilitation Sep 14, 2017
von Piekartz H, et al. - This study intended to determine the structural and known-group validity as well as the inter-rater reliability of a test battery to assess the motor control of the craniofacial region. The outcomes supported the psychometric properties of a test battery to measure motor control of the craniofacial region when assessed through videotaping. The findings suggested that this test battery could be used to distinguish between healthy subjects and subjects with musculoskeletal impairments in the cervical and orofacial regions as well as to assess the effectiveness of management strategies in the craniofacial region.
