Proximal nail plate destruction in subungual melanoma could be a possible predictor of invasiveness thicker than 1.25 mm

Kim JY, et al. - This research was formulated in order to determine the presence of a correlation between the dermal invasion of subungual melanoma (SUM) and proximal nail plate destruction (PNPD). The inference drawn was that PNPD in SUM possibly served as a predictor of invasiveness of more than 1.25 mm Breslow thickness (BT).
